Master’s Academic Preparation Program (MAPP)

Introduction

Our Master’s Academic Preparation Program (MAPP) prepares international students with a bachelor’s degree for graduate studies at Canadian universities. MAPP enhances students’ understanding of Canadian culture and equips them with essential academic and professional skills.

MAPP focuses on course-based graduate programs, offering English language and foundational academic courses. It sharpens students’ communication, collaboration, literacy, and critical thinking skills. Through projects and case studies, students learn to analyze problems, conduct research, and present their findings effectively.

MAPP is flexible, allowing students to enrol for one or two semesters. Students take 5 courses per semester

MAPP offers monthly intakes.

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution

GPA 2.0 or Grade C

English proficiency: Duolingo (100), IELTS (6.0), TOEFL iBT (78), PTE (46), iTEP (3.7), or equivalent

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, PTIRU did not review this program,
Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility:
No programs offered by Davis Academy are eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit. Graduates are not eligible to apply for a PGWP. Any work during studies, including co-op or off-campus work, requires appropriate IRCC authorization.
